The day after signing day

On the eve of many season openers, there is so much news:

ESPN's Graham Hays has the top mid-major players to watch.

Also, the Elite Eight losers are back for attack.

Syracuse is determined to make it to the tourney this year.

Five collegiate players to watch this year.

Maryland Coach Brenda Frese is still struggling to coach and deal with her son's cancer.

Ohio State's junior point guard Samantha Prahalis has been suspended for three games for violating unspecified NCAA rules.

Some dude tried to play off his negative comments about George Washington University transgender player Kye Allums on Kara Lawson and Carolyn Peck. Of course, they weren't having it.

More news on hoopfeed's twitter.

I think fans deserve to know why players are suspended, especially when it's for more than one game. When things are going well, we are drowned in favorable PR about players. When there are troubles, there's no info. Gossip and speculation and false rumors abound. Wouldn't it better to just tell the truth in 25 words or less?
