You get an overtime and you get an overtime

One of my Twitter followers says there have been five OT games so far, in day 16 of the season, which we haven't seen since 2016. All of this unpredictability is already reminding me of the college season we just saw. I hope it continues.

The Aces ran away from the Fever, 101-78.


The Sparks nipped the Sky in OT, 82-79.


The Lynx won their first game of the year in dramatic fashion, taking down league leaders Connecticut, 79-74 in OT.

Liberty, Sun, Mercury and Wings win on first day

Opening day results:


A three-pointer from Sabrina Ionescu lifted the Liberty over the Fever, 90-87.


Jonquel Jones and DeWanna Bonner combined for 47 points to lead the Sun past the Dream, 78-67.


The Mercury held off the Lynx, 77-75.


The Wings took care of the Sparks, 94-71.
