Stefanie Gilbreath to use her final year of eligibility at New Mexico State, with Mark Trakh

Stefanie Gilbreath, the Texas native embattled by ACL tears while at USC, will use up her final year of eligibility next year at New Mexico State. There, she will play for Coach Mark Trakh, who recruited her to USC. Trakh resigned in 2009.

Despite being listed as a junior on the roster, Gilbreath was honored as a senior this past February, both on programs and in the "senior day" presentation. I tweeted her a short time ago asking why this was so, but she declined to answer the question.

A reader commented that he/she was happy for Stef, then made some allegations towards Coach Michael Cooper that I didn't want to approve, so I'm paraphrasing the comment.
