Sue, It's the morning after the game and I'm still baffled and stunned.

I'm also still in a state of shock. All I could do last night was post the link, because I didn't know what to say. We all knew they would get taken out at some point, but I don't think anyone thought it would be in the first round.

I can't even contemplate what it means for the program because I don't know what last night means. I guess we will see.

I know how you feel. I went to bed last night with a mix of feelings, ranging from shock, to bewildermint to disgust. It must've really gotten to me too, because I even dreamt about it last night. I can vividly remember expressing my reaction to Brewer and Gray. It's strange because I don't really remember my dreams.

As for what this means for the program, I have no idea, but I do know that some of the girls REALLY need to look themelves in the mirror and contemplate what this means.

Yes, this team is young, but there's no excuse for the lack of effort and hustle last night.

Sorry to vent!

Wow, that's a deep dream if you were cussin out Gray and Brewer.....

I think what I'm afraid of is that the pervasive "failure to try" mentality of this generation has permeated the Lady Vols. I see it every day at the school where I teach, but I didn't think it would touch the Tennessee program. I have trouble dealing with students and athletes, and maybe Pat does too - even Pat. Which is amazing to me. If Pat can't surmount it, then I think we're all doomed.

I'm sitting here in my office at lunch time while several of the sports teams are getting ready for their games. The male team manager of softball was just talking to me about the Tennessee loss. Everyone knows about it and they are amazed.
