There are no mid-majors left in this tight lineup of teams. Conferences yielding Sweet 16 teams are:
Big East - Connecticut, Louisville, Pitt, Rutgers
Big 12 - Texas A&M, Iowa St, Baylor, Oklahoma
Big 10 - Michigan State, Ohio State, Purdue
PAC 10 - Arizona State, Cal, Stanford
ACC - Maryland
SEC - Vanderbilt
