Hey Sue,

It's interesting to see all of the coaching resignations and terminations now that the season is coming to an end.

I've read in several places concerns from some that the percentage of female head basketball coaches at the college level continues to decrease.

I'm not close enough to it to know but I assume you are. I'm wondering what you're seeing and what your views are. GS

There will be a rash of coaching changes this spring - more than usual - due to conference realignments from TV deals. So be prepared.

The shortage of female coaches on all levels of play is very concerning, and has been to women's hoops fans for quite some time. I wish I knew why this was the case, and how to get more women into the profession. They are sorely needed.

Appreciate it. I was just wondering if there is a shortage of women that want to coach or if there are lots applying for open positions but they aren't getting selected.

It looks like the terminations are pretty even from a male / female standpoint. GS
