WNBA preview

There are five games tonight, the most critical of which is probably Los Angeles vs. Minnesota, as both teams vie for a Western Conference playoff spot.

Storm veteran point guard Sue Bird talks about finishing the season strong, the playoffs and other topics in this interview.

Ticha Penicheiro has become used to playing for her former enemy, but still has sadness about the collapse of the Sacramento franchise last year.

In non-league news.......

Cheryl Miller will be inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame.

Connecticut Coach Geno Auriemma claims he's "not worried" for his team in the face of the loss of guard Caroline Doty.

I just saw the 30 for 30 about Reggie Miller. Did you know Cheryl Miller once scored 105 points in a single high school game? Wow. I would have loved to see her take on the boys. If anyone could match up with them, she could have.

Are you sure you didn't know this, Stephen?.......back in the day when they were young, Reggie and Cheryl used to go to the park for some 2-on-2. Of course the boys and men didn't want to play them because Cheryl was a female. So Reggie would talk them into it and they'd think they were about to smash on the kids. The Millers would proceed to annihlate them. It worked for a long time until people caught on. :)
