More W news than can be believed

Indiana and Phoenix didn't fight tonight, but the Fever won soundly, 110-90.

Seattle may want to rethink that "resting the starters" plan, because they lost to the Sun, of all teams.

San Antonio put the hurt on Tulsa, 94-74.

Check out the Candace Parker renewal videos under the "fun stuff" heading. They played the one with Lailaa and the hoop at Tuesday's game.....love it.

The Sparks have hired a new president - Mike Levy. Check out the video.

A writer actually put Tully Bevilaqua and Lisa Leslie together in a story. I have a hard time thinking of two more opposite people, unless it's Tamika Catchings and Diana Taurasi.

Cynthia Cooper-Dyke was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame today, and Mechelle Voepel looks back at her legacy.

The Storm lost to the Sun? Ho hum. I'm just glad that coach Brian "Hungry" Agler didn't pressure Lauren Jackson, out with back spasms, to play despite the pain.

the game meant nothing since we've clinched hc advantaqe for the entire playoffs. its more important for the starters, plus 'coe and svet to feel rested and raring to go through the playoffs.

that said, i fully expect to see the starters for the last two home games. that undefeated record on our own court definitely is a biggie for the team. they want to reach that goal.

so, sorry, minny and l.a., you will be seeing the 'a' team next week; at least enough for the storm to get the wins.

That's good, because as much as I understand how the game meant nothing and it's important to rest the starters, I'm a proponent of fully representing yourself. And if you're 24-5 and lose to the Sun, that isn't reppin. Pat Summitt didn't get to 1000-plus wins and eight national championships by resting.
