Ohio State barely pulled it out to win the Big 10 tourney, defeating Iowa 66-64.
Marist won its fifth consecutive Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference title.
And that "boo" you hear is me reacting to Duke's win over North Carolina State to take the ACC tourney.
These conferences that have their tournaments first thing in March are the smart ones. Now they get to rest a bit and just focus on practice until the real Madness begins.

Okay, so the actual NCAA tournament seedings are determined by the NCAA's selection committee, *not* some douchebag named Charlie Creme, who works at espn.com.
However, if the actual tournament seedings *were* determined by some douchebag named Charlie Creme, who works at espn.com, we would be in very good shape today.
Creme has unveiled his most recent Bracketology projections, which puts UCLA at a 6 seed, in Berkeley, against 11-seeded Michigan (#45 RPI, and loser of 6 of their last 9 games). You'd have to like UCLA's chances in that matchup. The subsequent game would project to be against 3-seeded Texas A&M. On paper, that looks like a pretty tough game for us, as A&M is a #7 RPI (which truthfully should earn them a 2-seed) and has won 6 of their last 7 games. But at least we'd be playing 'em in Berkeley (instead of, say, Austin). And you can't run from the tough teams forever. This is the NCAA Tourney, after all
Again, it's all in flux, but I find this a hopeful projection.
