Two days after

News has slowed, and so has twitter. I think we're all recovering.

The Baylor Bears arrived home to a hero's welcome yesterday.

The Final Four was a huge success, with ratings the highest in eight years.

Baylor Coach Kim Mulkey speaks up for Brittney Griner. Good for her! And the commentary in that video is exceptional and right on the money: "sometimes people don't value women for what they do, but what they look like." Who knows - maybe Griner will help this society finally start to purge its archaic and prejudicial views about women. The one bright element of this situation is that the dialogue has started.

Coaching changes:

Eastern Michigan Coach AnnMarie Gilbert has resigned.

Drexel has signed Coach Denise Dillon to a multi-year contract.

WNBA:

Dishin & Swishin talks to Storm Coach Brian Agler, Shock Coach Gary Kloppenberg and Sky Assistant Coach Jeff House.

High school:

Today is the first day NCAA coaches can contact recruits via phone. Let the scouting season begin......
