A lot going on in the world of hoops

Sheryl Swoopes is ditching her high school coaching job to go play pro in Greece. She's going to take the spot of Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton, who has a new assistant coaching job at alma mater Purdue. Congrats, Lindsay.

"West Virginia University wins too," claims this story. Hell, I didn't know anyone in West Virginia played. That's not a state you hear much about.

Interesting tidbits in this interview with Oregon assistant Kai Felton - the main one being that the Ducks are currently the highest-scoring Division I team in the country right now. Amazing.

Not surprising at all: Pat Summitt supports UT men's coach Bruce Pearl through the ordeal with his four arrested players.

Betty Lennox is interning at Habitat for Humanity this winter in Kansas City, for the second year in a row.

Atlanta Dream point guard Shalee Lehning has been made an assistant coach at Kansas State.

Is North Carolina for real this year (unlike last year)? They beat Georgia Tech, 89-78.

Here's that missing ESPN Big-10 preview.

USC Coach Michael Cooper will chat live tomorrow at 1 p.m. PST on espnlosangeles.com.

Nice Mechelle Voepel story on Xavier. It's fun to see them ranked.
