Very interesting games coming up in the next month for the top 4 teams

Jan 18th Brea @ Mater Dei
Feb 5th Whitney Young @ Mater Dei
Feb 6th Whitney Young @ LB Poly

Whitney Young faces a very tall task coming out west to play #1 and #2 teams in less than 24 hours.

I knew about the Jan. 18 game, and I'll probably have to go to that since it's on MLK Day. You going, IM?

Who the hell is Whitney Young?

I found Whitney Young Magnet High School in Chicago before I looked on maxpreps. The game is on MD's schedule, but not Brea's. WY isn't ranked in the top 25, either. So this magnet school is coming to California to play its two top teams in the southern part of the state? Interesting.

Young is the #4 team you have on that national list you posted. I believe they are 10-0. Nickname is the Dolphins

I will be at the games on the 18th of January. I think there are three games at MD that day. It is a benefit day for the coach from Orange Lutheran, Tony Matson, who passed away last year at a very young 45. If the MD game v Brea game is at 7pm than the other two games are at 4pm and 5:30pm

I will also be at the games on Friday Feb 5th at MD. I think there are 5 games starting at 3pm that day. The MD vs Whitney Young(from Chicago) is at 9pm

I cant make the Sat games of either Young at LB Poly or I think there is another good game that day of Troy at Brea.
