Minnesota star Rachel Banham, who was lost for the season with a torn ACL last month, has won a hardship waiver from the NCAA and will return for next season:
“I am really excited to announce that I will be coming back to play next year for the University of Minnesota,” said Banham, who will graduate in the spring with a degree in sociology. “My family and my teammates have been a huge influence on this decision. I have a lot of unfinished business here at the Barn and I am excited to play in front of these great fans.”
