Many upsets, and a fight

Upset night:

#17 Florida State stunned #4 Louisville, 68-63.

#22 Georgia upended #10 Texas A&M, 54-51.

Boston College upset #15 Duke, 60-56.

Purdue took down #21 Minnesota, 90-88. Stabresa McDaniel sustained a knee injury for the Gophers.

Fight night:

Alabama squeaked out a win over Auburn, 51-50. But not before three players were ejected in the first half for fighting:

Alabama's Breanna Hayden and Meoshonti Knight and Auburn's Hasina Muhammad all earned ejections during the first half of the Crimson Tide-Tigers game in Tuscaloosa tonight after a fight that featured a few punches and one tumbling referee.

Yikes!!

Almost-upsets:

#18 Mississippi State survived Ole Miss, 64-62.

#12 North Carolina edged North Carolina State, 67-63.

#20 Iowa staved off Michigan, 76-70.

#24 Western Kentucky outlasted UTEP, 80-74.

Other - very close - results:

Northwestern squeaked by Illinois, 68-67.

Vanderbilt came back to beat Arkansas, 55-53.

Penn State (actually) beat Indiana, 79-75.

McNeese State defeated Incarnate Word in two overtimes, 104-101.

"We Back Pat" night:

#5 Tennessee routed LSU, 75-58, on "We Back Pat Night" at Thompson-Boling Arena. Pat Summitt took a picture with current Tennessee coach Holly Warlick and former assistant and current Tiger head coach Nikki Caldwell. Her impact on women's basketball was on full display.
