It was a Southern California final at the Nike TOC, as Mater Dei topped Long Beach Poly in the title game, 47-38:
Mater Dei from Santa Ana (Calif.) defeated Long Beach Poly 47-38 to take home the title out of the Joe Smith Division in the Nike Tournament of Champions at Chandler Hamilton High on Saturday night.
Mater Dei’s strong shooting proved to be too much as Poly struggled to get any rhythm offensively missing their first six field goal attempts as Mater Dei seemed to score with ease.
