#21 Cal outlasted Pacific, 68-66, thanks to junior forward Reshanda Gray:

BERKELEY, Calif. -- Reshanda Gray scored 23 points, including the go-ahead basket in overtime, and grabbed 11 rebounds as No. 21 California held off Pacific, 68-66, Saturday afternoon.

It was Gray's two free throws with 23 seconds left in regulation that allowed Cal (6-2) to tie the game. She also grabbed a rebound with five seconds to go when the Tigers missed a chance to win.


BYU slipped by Creighton, 52-51, to remain undefeated at 8-0. They snapped the Bluejays' 15-game home winning streak in the process.

UTEP survived Southern Methodist, 76-71, and is 8-0.

#4 Notre Dame's home winning streak is 16, after their rout of UCLA, 90-48.

Arizona State is doing well this season: they won their sixth straight today in whooping on Sacred Heart. The Sun Devils are 7-1.

Virginia Tech beat formerly-ranked Michigan State, 72-66.

#7 Louisville rolled over Wright State in their first game since Antonita Slaughter's announcement that she is out for the season.

#11 Colorado's thrashing of Illinois was interrupted briefly due to an arena evacuation.
