Richie remains by far the worst interview and weakest leader of any professional sports league in the country. Every time she opens her mouth nothing but generic platitudes and empty blather flow. It's pretty unbelievable. An objective person would reasonably believe that after three years she could at least fake like she understands anything about the game. I guess not.
Interesting scheduling this weekend -- a couple of what are essentially two-game series: Tulsa at Phoenix & San Antonio at Seattle.
Seattle returns the favor in San Antonio in a couple of weeks, and the Lynx do a two-fer in Seattle next month.
The NBA gave some consideration to such scheduling back in the '80's, but only briefly.
Is the WNBA conducting some kind of experiment/trial with this concept? Or did the teams request such scheduling, perhaps to minimize expenses?
Good catch. Hadn't noticed. Has to be an expense move.
Abacus, I honestly don't know. Fans say they've been trying to figure out the WNBA's scheduling for years. I haven't heard about any answers, though.
