If you're like me, you're still absorbing Louisville's stunning upset of top-ranked Baylor in tonight's round three match up.

Sixteen three-point shots for the Cardinals. Smothering Brittney Griner with defense, and keeping her from scoring until 15:20 in the second half. Louisville mounting a 17-point lead, only to see Baylor whittle it down to nothing in the closing minutes. A final score of 82-81. All of it is just hard to believe.

Great links on Baylor / Louisville. That game was what tourney ball is all about. Amazing. I was disappointed by Mulkey's comments at the presser. Not cool. People can say what they want about the refs but Walz just out prepared and out coached her. The Cards were totally fearless. I loved their attitude. Shoni Schimmel finally showed why she is on many of the potential All American lists.

The move that Shimmel put on Griner with the over the head layup might just be the best one I've ever seen in WCBB. I also liked how she didn't back off when Sims got in her face. That's what leaders do.

It looks like your Tennessee fans are almost as happy as the Card faithful. I didn't realize how much they disliked Mulkey / Baylor until I read the linked comments.

Should be a great game on Tuesday. We'll see if Walz can keep the Cards loose and hot. Right now it seems like Louisville roundball, both mens and womens, is in the Zone.
