Holdsclaw's attorney "claims she did not attack ex-girlfriend". I guess the gasoline dumped on the seats, the windows beat out by the baseball bat and the handgun fired into Lacy's vehicle while she was sitting in it aren't assault.
It is hardly surprising that a law firm that successfully facilitated Ray Lewis's escape from justice for murder won't have a problem defending Holdsclaw.
People can be sure that just like in the case of Lewis, the court of public opinion will be painfully objective in judging her actions in the event Mr. Garland orchestrates an escape from justice for Holdsclaw.
It's one thing to support women's basketball. It's entirely another to look for anything but objective justice in this circumstance. For anyone not paying attention this assault was perpetrated upon another women's pro baller. It is what it is.
