Rutgers held off Louisville in overtime.
Other close ones:
Cal State Northridge rallied to take Pacific, 72-68, and end their eight-game home winning streak.
San Diego State defeated UNLV in overtime, 66-62.
UC Irvine squeaked past Cal Poly, 62-60.
Arizona overcame Oregon State, 58-56.
Arizona State snapped a three-game losing streak by eeking one out over Oregon, 53-49.
What was in the air today with all these close games?

What magic is Jason Flowers doing at CSN?
They beat Pacific on the road and if you look at the boxscore two of their best players fouled out. Jasmine Erving only played 10 minutes and fouled out. She had two quick fouls and sat most of the first half, then came back and fouled again. She got her 4th foul in the first minute of the 2nd half goes to the bench until 7 minutes left and then gets her 5th foul with 5 minutes left.
Her teammate Violet Alama, who averages about 9ppg, played 17 minutes and fouled out too.
CSN was down by 13 points at the half, 20-33 and they scored 52 points in the second half.

and an injury riddled uw beat wsu over in the palouse. argens, davis and williams each had big games for the huskies. way to go, dawgs!

IM: Flowers is both an effective teacher and a great motivator, and it's that combination that's lead to the dramatic turnaround at CSUN. Jasmine Erving was one of the players he inherited, and now she's a beast.
It's why I picked Flowers as one of my mid-major hot list coaches (December post).
