Things are already interesting

Upset:

#9 Ohio State upended #6 Maryland, 80-71. That ended the Terps' 31-game winning streak against Big Ten teams that dated back to 2007.

Almost-upset:

#20 South Florida slipped past East Carolina, 61-59.

The Pac-12 will be a dog fight:

#17 Arizona State overcame #19 Cal, 57-49.

#10 Oregon State downed USC, 57-49.

(Kind of odd that the scores were identical)

Washington edged Colorado, 76-74.

Utah escaped Washington State, 73-71.

Iowa State beat Oklahoma State, 49-42.

Western Kentucky routed Marshall, 81-52.

#5 Texas took care of Texas Tech, 86-62.

#11 Stanford whooped Ariona, 59-34.

St. Mary's closed out San Diego, 73-68.

Sacramento State trumped Portland State, 132-91, and broke the school and Big Sky single-game scoring record in the process.
