More tournament upendings

The major upset of the day belongs to Ohio State, who prevailed over Iowa, 91-85, in overtime of the Big Ten semifinals. A hard-fought, riveting game.

Stanford took out higher-seeded Arizona State, 59-56, in the Pac 12 semifinals.

ACC semifinalss:

Notre Dame ousted Duke, 55-49.

Florida State beat Louisville, 66-51.

SEC semifinals:

South Carolina routed LSU, 74-54.

Tennessee took care of Kentucky, 75-64.

Pac 12 semifinal:

Cal topped Colorado, 68-55.

Big Ten semifinals:

Maryland downed Northwestern, 74-63.

Big 12 quarterfinals:

Baylor ran past Kansas State, 82-70.

Texas got by TCU, 67-61.

Oklahoma State held off Iowa State, 67-58.

Oklahoma defeated West Virginia, 67-55.

Ivy League/outright:

Princeton put away Columbia, 63-44, to claim the Ivy League title, an NCAA bid, and take the school record for best start, at 29-0.

Southwest Conference forfeit:

A second-half brawl ended the championship game between Southern and Texas Southern. The league ruled the game a double-forfeit and decided the teams will share the title with twin 16-2 league records.
