Minnesota beat North Dakota, 68-55, but Gopher star Rachel Banham went down with a leg injury and did not return to the game. Banham came down from a layup awkwardly, and clutched her right knee after she fell to the court. She had to be helped off.
Please, don't let it be that.......
Almost-upset:
#5 Notre Dame survived #25 DePaul in overtime, 94-93. Jewell "the beast" Loyd had a career-high 41 points for the Irish, and the Blue Demons missed numerous free throws down the stretch.
