UCLA / ASU - This game could have easily ended up on your upset list, because the short handed Bruins were primed to beat the (IMO) overrated Sun Devils. UCLA has a 7 1/2 player rotation and gave ASU all they could handle. UCLA had the chance to tie, or win, the game at the end, but their 3 shots bounced off the rim.

UCLA is 2-3 in the PAC 12 but could easily be 5-0. Their 3 losses are by a total of 6 points and in each loss, they missed 7 or more freethows. Obviously the lack of depth is taking the legs away from some of the players, which would account for the poor FT shooting, but they are a team that could upset a few folks and cause headaches for other.

And just for a little comment on your title, "UCLA Slipped by Arizona" Actually that wasn't a slip. They led the entire game, though they squandered a 15 point lead and allowed Arizona to get within a point before outlasting them.

Remember, Gail - it's nothing personal. I have to characterize a loss in some way. It's called journalistic creativity.

Not personal at all. Just made me feel better... LOL!
