The lone remaining player from the WNBA's first season is putting on quite a show in her final year, as she heads for retirement. Tina Thompson put up 30 points last night to lead the Storm over the Mystics, 96-86. If you saw the game, as I did, you know it was quite a show.

It's good to see Glory Johnson getting the recognition that she deserves. I think she was more of a team player and role player at Tennessee, and as a result didn't produce high stats. Also, her aggressive, tough play usually resulted in fouls called on her, which often limited her minutes on the floor during college.
