Three-team trade involves Lynx, Liberty and Shock

It's complicated:

NEW YORK, NY – March 1, 2013 – New York Liberty Head Coach and General Manager Bill Laimbeer announced today that the team has acquired a 2013 second round pick (15th overall), a 2013 third round selection (27th overall) and the rights to guard Deanna Nolan from the Tulsa Shock, as part of a three-team deal. Tulsa receives guard Candice Wiggins in a sign and trade with the Minnesota Lynx as well as forward Nicole Powell and a 2013 third round selection (29th overall) from the Liberty. Minnesota will receive forward Janel McCarville in a sign and trade with the Liberty and a 2014 second round selection from the Shock.

The Minnesota Lynx today announced that the team has acquired former University of Minnesota women’s basketball star center Janel McCarville from the New York Liberty, along with a second-round pick in the 2014 WNBA Draft from the Tulsa Shock, in a three-team trade.
