Four more days of the WNBA before the Olympic break

WNBA news:

Unbelievably, there's another injury: Lynx forward Rebekkah Brunson has a calf strain and will miss the team's two games this week. Julie Wojta will fill in for her for the week.

Western and Eastern Conference players of the week are Becky Hammon and Tina Charles, respectively.

A quick but cool story about Diana Taurasi.

What to do about this 11-player roster problem?

Olympics:

Five reasons the USA women's basketball team will be as dominant as the men.

I wish I could be as confident as they are, because frankly, the Taurasi-McCoughtry injuries worry me.

On the Australian side, Olympics veteran Lauren Jackson thinks newcomer Liz Cambage could be a Games star.

Injuries, injuries, injuries.

Year-round play, squeezed game schedules, commercial flights, etc.

It's only getting worse, I think. What's to be done? Will anyone say "enough!"?

Sigh. As usual, right after I comment on a topic, I come across someone else's thinking on it.
