Pat Summitt's assistant coaches playing even bigger roles

Amazing story by Mechelle Voepel on the enhanced roles of assistant coaches Holly Warlick, Mickie DeMoss and Dean Lockwood. So many touching stanzas that I can't begin to quote them all, but I like the humor, too - especially about the longevity of the entire Tennessee staff:

"I've been out of school for 12 years, and I go back and it's the same people," said Holdsclaw, the program's all-time leading scorer and rebounder who has a street near the arena named after her. "It's like I haven't even been gone for a day. You still feel that support you felt when you were a student there."
