Lynx, Shock, Sparks win, Catchings is back

Tonight's results:

The Lynx's perimeter defense was the key to their 91-84 win over San Antonio. They are now 13-5.

The Shock handed the Sun yet another loss, 96-83, behind rookie Odyssey Sims' 30 points.

The Sparks spanked the Storm, 70-56.

Former Cleveland State player Destinee Blue died Saturday in a motorcycle accident.

Loyola Chicago has extended coach Sheryl Swoopes' contract through the 2017-2018 season.

Brittany Parker has been hired at Morehead State as an assistant coach.

Mike Trujillo and Andrea Videbeck are new assistant coaches at Idaho State.

Amber Cunningham has been named an assistant coach at Louisiana-Monroe.
