State of the Pac-12

Last night, #6 Stanford halted a two-home game losing streak by soundly beating #14 UCLA, 75-49. Cardinal forward Chiney Ogwumike, who finished with 25 points and 13 rebounds, was highly motivated for the victory.

USC and UCLA were the only undefeated teams left in the Pac-12, but with their losses, there is a log jam in the conference standings:

Stanford 4-1
Cal 4-1
UCLA 4-1
USC 4-1
Colorado 3-2
Arizona 3-2
Washington 3-2
Arizona State 2-3
Oregon State 2-3
Washington State 2-3
Utah 0-5
Oregon 0-5

Tomorrow UCLA and Cal go at it, as do USC and Stanford, Washington and Washington State, Oregon and Oregon State, Arizona and Colorado and Arizona State and Utah. So we will see how they stand by the end of the weekend.
