Sparks guard Sharnee' Zoll out for the season with ACL tear

From Sparks HQ:

Los Angeles – The Los Angeles Sparks announced today that Sharnee Zoll will miss the remainder of the 2012 season due to a torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) in her left knee.

"It's unfortunate that Sharnee won't be able to play this season," Sparks Vice President and General Manager Penny Toler said. "Up until her injury, she was playing really well. We look forward to seeing what she can do next season."

Zoll averaged 7 assists in her two preseason games with the Sparks. Against the Japan National Team, Zoll notched 10 points, 6 assists and 3 rebounds in just 19 minutes of play.

What an incredible bummer for Zoll. Wonder who the Sparks will pick up to take her place?
