The USC saga, part 56, continues:
Sparks Coach Michael Cooper is having discussions with USC about becoming the Trojans' women's basketball coach, Sparks co-owner Carla Christofferson confirmed today.
But:
Christofferson wouldn't discuss details of Cooper's contract, saying only, "There's not anything that will allow him out during the season."
And the lines are pretty wide for reading here:
"Kathy and I are into honesty and dealing with things up front," she said, referring to co-owner Kathy Goodman. "We like to know things before finding out things from all of you guys, no offense."

In the meantime, a reliable source reports that Mark Trakh is interviewing with the University of Hawaii.
I couldn't make stuff up that is this good.

If Coop gets the job there will be a lot of unhappy players/recruits at USC!
I agree not what the girls want or need.
seriously, does coop have any idea for what he wants to do when he grows up?
scullyfu
If it does go through, it would seem an odd choice. Does he know how to recruit at high schools?
scullyfu, you made me laugh.
I just heard Oliver was released from USC - is this the start of an exodus.
