Tipping point

Now is that time of the season where separation is occurring. Those teams that have caught fire, like the Storm, the Aces and the Mercury, are running with it. Those that are slumping are trying to find a way out.

Today's results:

The Aces clamped down on the Fever, 98-79, to win their fifth straight.

The Lynx handed the Mystics their fifth straight loss, 68-48.

The Sparks took care of the Liberty, 93-78, with five in double figures.
