#15 Maryland escaped Virginia, 60-59.

#18 Texas A&M held off Rice, 82-76.

#25 Villanova escaped Princton, 62-59.

Surprises:

North Carolina handed Minnesota their first loss of the season, 88-83.

Younger Insell (Ole Miss) handed older Insell (MTSU) their first loss, 65-56.

San Diego State edged San Diego, 77-76, to give them their first loss.
