The surprises keep coming

Today's results:

Say what? The Mystics whooped the Lynx, 87-63. Minnesota is now 13-2.

Meanwhile, the Sparks took care of the Sun, 80-73, behind Nneka Ogwumike's 27 points. LA is now 13-1.

Across the country, the Mercury halted the Liberty in overtime, 104-97. Candice Dupree had 26 points for Phoenix.

But that didn't stop the Liberty reunion from being very successful and fun.

Pride:

The WNBA and NBA became the first pro sports leagues to march in the NYC Pride parade today. Even NBA Commissioner Adam Silver was there (!!)

Times are changing, thank goodness.

More and more basketball players are coming out, as they feel safe enough to do so.

Team news:

That open Storm roster spot? Seattle is again choosing old friends, by signing center Krystal Thomas.

Coach news:

Mystics coach Mike Thibault has done it all in his coaching career.

College team news:

Oregon State lost some stars to graduation, but it's only the beginning for the program.

College coach news:

Miami coach Katie Meier is confident the Hurricane coach's tips will help her team.

Kelsey Byrd is a new assistant coach at Cal Poly.
