While we wait for the WNBA transactions page to be updated

It's three hours after the cuts deadline and no updates yet on the WNBA transactions page.

A few teams haven't even updated their roster pages from cuts made earlier this week. Very disappointing.

In the meantime:

As the WNBA opens its 20th season, key figures recall the first game.

A survey of the league's GMs sees Phoenix picked to win this year's title.

The WNBA needs better presentation, new Stars GM Ruth Riley says. She's right on the money.

The WNBA is so progressive that a WNBA player came out and no one blinked.

The Sparks have filled in the missing pieces and start with a full slate.
