Not trying to jump to conclusions here but looking back at 2008 when Parker won ROY and MVP the detail looked like this:

C Parker - Won 1 player of the week award
18.5 PPG
9.5 RPG
2.3 BPG

EDD - Has won 4 player of the week awards so far
18.5 PPG
5.5 RPG
1.9 BPG

I didn't locate assists per game but assume it is a wash or slightly in EDD's favor.

So I'm assuming that EDD is a lock for ROY and looks to be in pretty good shape for MVP when compared to Parker's rookie year. Of course the league is different now and there are legit arguments being made for other qualified ballers.

That said, if EDD can maintain her current stats and the SKY does decent in the playoffs it will be hard not to award her the MVP. Her positive impact on the SKY and the W generally will have been substantial at that point.

Will be interesting to see how the SKY performs down the stretch in their final seven games. Hopefully injuries won't end up being a big factor in the award.
