DeNesha Stallworth: the truth comes out about why she left

Joanne Boyle was "too laid-back," said the father of the departed sophomore. He also complained about the lack of crowds at games on the West Coast. Stallworth is deciding between Florida, LSU and Kentucky.

Lol! Laid back? I'm sure he was fond of this during the recruiting process, unless she is being forced to transfer. Alot of recruits fail to do research on the school or parents are to involved in their childs decision. Yes its great to have your opinion on where you would like for them to attend for the next four years of their life, but its not about you! You should be confident in your parenting skills that you have raised your daughter to make the right decision for herself! Parents aren't always right!

I for one would love to hear what DeNesha has to say. Chris Stallworth has been given one too many platforms if you ask me. If getting away means DeNesha will find her own voice, I'm all for it!

We're not going to make this an "attack DeNesha Stallworth" space, nor are we going to attack her dad. I'm letting this first post go to be an example: if you want to post these kinds of statements, sign your name.

You have to remember that there are always two sides to a story. If you don't like one side, then turn the other cheek. You don't have to comment about it.

Anonymous 2, who posted while I was writing my reply: maybe DeNesha has nothing to say.

Completely get where you're coming from Sue, for the most part people shouldn't utilize a forum like this to criticize anyone (parent or kid). However, when you choose to make derogatory statements in a publication as widely circulated as the largest San Francisco paper, you CHOOSE to open yourself (and your daughter) up to criticism, no?

To your second point, if DeNesha has nothing to say, should her dad be choosing to speak on these issues? Seems like that was kind of the two earlier posters point, no?
