Such a harsh, harsh break for Minnesota's Rachel Banham:
Gophers women’s basketball star Rachel Banham tore her right anterior cruciate ligament on Wednesday night against North Dakota and will miss the rest of the season, first-year Minnesota coach Marlene Stollings announced the day after.
Another source with knowledge of the situation said Banham also partially tore the medial collateral ligament in the same knee.
It is unclear if Banham, a senior, would be eligible for a medical redshirt.
This makes me SO sad.
