Personalities in the news II

Today's results:

#12 Nebraska got by Creighton, 60-57.

#22 Mississippi State escaped Louisiana Tech, 81-77.

#24 Iowa won the showdown with Iowa State, 76-67.

St. John's is unbeaten after a 62-48 victory over UCF. Aliyyah Handford notched 1,000 career points in the process.

Purdue snapped a three-game losing streak by downing Kansas, 61-48.

Player news:

Cal sophomore forward Courtney Range sustained a left knee sprain in Sunday's game against Kansas. She is out indefinitely.

Duke redshirt freshman Becca Greenwell has been worth the wait, as she leads the team in scoring.

Crystal Leary and Linda Stepney have formed a sisterly bond at West Virginia.

Hard-working Tamara Taylor is stepping up as a senior for South Florida.

Allisha Gray is Ms. Green Light for North Carolina.
