Candace Parker
While she was helping the Los Angeles Sparks battle the Atlanta Dream at Staples Center Wednesday night, across the street, Candace Parker was given the ESPY award for best WNBA player. Here's what Parker had to say about receiving the award, and about Robin Roberts receiving the Arthur Ashe Courage Award:
"It means a lot to me. I really appreciate my fans, and to even be considered up for an ESPY is an honor. Congratulations to everyone that was nominated. I wish I could have been there to see Robin Roberts accept her award - I'm definitely a huge fan and a huge supporter."
