The Tennessee forward has been plagued with knee injuries from the Vols' National Championship win on April 8, 2008. She hasn't played in a game since Feb. 3, 2009, when she again tore her ACL. But today, she was back in the game. Vol fans at the team's final exhibition matchup gifted her with a standing ovation. She put up six points in 11 minutes of play - not a bad start.
Welcome back, Vicki. Twenty-one months is a looooong time to sit out.

It was so great to see her playing at home with all the fan support. I must admit I was nervous watching her play, and hoping she wouldn't hurt herself. She deserves an injury-free rest of her playing days at Tennessee. Go Vicki!
the gal's a fighter, to be sure. i'm looking forward to seeing her at full steam this year. :)
