The Liberty continued their winning streak last night (eight in a row) by kicking the crap out of the Phoenix Mercury, 107-69, and setting a new franchise scoring record. New York has now clinched a playoff spot, believe it or not.
The Sparks survived Tulsa, and kept their playoff hopes alive.
The Atlanta Dream have also made it to the playoffs, by defesting Chicago 98-74. The Sky's Sylvia Fowles hit the 1000-point mark (congrats!) but said her team "played like boo boo." Coach Steven Key said he was embarrassed by the loss.
Lindsey Harding has become a steadying force for the Mystics, who play a "still resting the starters" Seattle Storm today.
And how'd you like to have Cynthia Cooper-Dyke as your college coach, with all of her high expectations? I'd be nervous.
