Late night wrap up

Look at ALL the great things that went down and interesting news items that came up while I was out all day...........

First, I have to give it up to Tina freakin Thompson, who was not only named Western Conference Player of the Week yesterday for the second consecutive week, but has been named WC Player of the Month. Deservedly so, too. I've not seen her play this possessed in a very long time. Last Tuesday's game against Phoenix, where she dropped 33 points, was a phenomenal display. Go on, girl.

On a related note, even the Seattle Storm say the Los Angeles Sparks are peaking at the right time.

The Storm are trying to forget the 06, 08 and 09 playoffs.

The Sparks have renewed confidence.

The Washington Mystics also have mad confidence.

And Cal State Northridge has released its season schedule......can't wait.
