It turns out that the injury Liberty forward Essence Carson suffered in Friday's game was a torn ACL, and she's out for the rest of the season.
Especially considering she was having a break out year, it's beyond sad.
Carson's injury has dealt a blow to her team.

The Liberty defeated the Dream, 76-67.
The Sky got past the Silver Stars, 72-70. They were lead by none other than Elena Delle Donne and her 23 points. She's looking like the Rookie of the Year so far.

The injury levels in the W already seem to be unbelievably high and they've only played 25 games. Not good.
EDD is really doing a nice job. I don't get how Chicago could only put 4239 butts in seats for that game. I thought it was a misprint. Jeez.
Chicago has had some of the worst attendance of all the franchises, so that's a building number for them. But I know what you mean.
