Dream off to a franchise-best 8-1; Mercury also win

The Dream topped the injury-depleted Fever, 76-60. Atlanta's 8-1 start is the best in franchise history.

The Mercury outlasted the Silver Stars, 83-77. Phoenix rookie Brittney Griner had a career-high 26 points.
