The University of Denver is leaving the Western Athletic Conference after only a year, to join the Summit League.

North Carolina is staying in the ACC.

Other NCAA news:

Interesting.

Given her performance while in charge of the WNBA why would the NCAA think that she can add value to CWBB. It might be because due to Title IX and the cost / revenue structure of the NCAA actual job performance doesn't really matter, but politics and marketing mean everything.

A classic case of image trumping performance.
