Erica McCall, #11 in the 2013 class, has narrowed down her final list of five colleges going into the last three months before the November signing period.
The Bakersfield, Calif. native will choose between Stanford, Duke, UConn, UCLA and Cal State Bakersfield, according to her father Greg McCall. She considered dozens of schools before paring down her list.
McCall made an impression early in her high school career, when she helped club ball team Cal Sparks Gold win a FILA National Championship two years ago - a feat she and team repeated twice more. She has become the premiere high school player in her hometown, and is currently playing for USA Basketball's U17 team, which is preparing for the world championships later this month.
The sister of Phoenix Mercury forward DeWanna Bonner, McCall turns 17 this month. Her father Greg is head coach at Cal State Bakersfield.

I've got to believe it's really Stanford, Duke and UConn. ULA and especially Bakersfield are a tip of the hat to SoCal schools. If she qualifies, she'll probably go to Stanford.
