Getting the week started

WNBA:

In the absence of the injured Briann January, Shannon Bobbitt and Erin Phillips will do point guard duties for the Indiana Fever.

In the meantime, their teammate Tamika Catchings says the NBA lockout isn't a concern.

The Storm has found their offense, even without Lauren Jackson.

The Shock has added veteran Doneeka Lewis.

News this morning is that the Liberty have waived Jessica Breland and signed Felicia Chester.

The Phoenix Mercury and their male practice squad all have fun times in practices.

High school/club ball:

In the last of ESPN's series surveying anonymous coaches, the discussion is on how the recruiting game can change.

College:

The departure of assistant coach Charlotte Smith for a head coaching gig at Elon University leaves a hole in the North Carolina program.

haha, if the storm found their offense against the mystakes, they lost it against the fever. katie and t need to really pick it up. t just hasn't had her head into the game this season; katie is a shooter and i'd bet on her finding her range again. in the meantime, both a playing good defense. the storm bench is dangerously suspect.
