So I guess in their game last night, Stanford center Jayne Appel was called for a flagrant foul on UCLA's Jasmine Dixon, and ejected from the game. The Pac-10 reviewed the tape and decided not to suspend Appel, who was so upset at the thought that she was about to cry. Wow.
I'm wondering how the University of Oregon can get away with calling their page Full Court Press, when there's a website by that name. But they let junior Kristi Fallin blog about the Ducks' upcoming battle with Oregon State, and that makes me happy. Because coaches sure aren't giving the former junior college superstar many minutes.
And "Wynn-Wynn situation" nicely covers the coaching situation at Long Beach State.

Probably because Full Court Press is a fairly common basketball term... and possibly also because Full Court Press was the title of a book about Jody Runge and her Oregon team (I want to say '93-'94, but I may be off; it was definitely before the WNBA, though).
The book explanation makes so much sense.
